NOTE: Before posting I reread this and I am not ashamed of it but I'm kinda weird out. Still posting it theres a reason I wrote it here and not in my notebook.

This is kinda obvious when you take into account that this is a neocities page but I hate the current internet, well not the internet, the CORPO AI INTERNET that's based purely on ads and fomo. And I'm not talking purely on the spaces/technology around it but also the culture/language/interactions around it.

So it's pretty clear that the tech around the corpo net is rotten. It pollutes third world countries so that the response from the servers can be 1 millisecond shorter for the 1st world countries, it's aggresive to the point that we don't question the oligopoly that is big tech anymore, it went from human content and human to human interaction to human/AI content and IA to human interaction, etc, etc, etc. The point it's I'm tired of it socially. Sadly my work doesn't allow me to stay completely out of the loop as I am, as Usada Pekora in the Kojima world, a Data Scientist and I've seen the rise of AI (LLM) from the start. I remember how we were having fun with Q models making them play Sonic 2 on their own and failing miserably when Elmo and their freaking Muppets came into town to ruins everyones life to this day.

A is for Artificial Intelligence

Now at work I use LLMs for 2 things, cuz I'm forced or because recently an idiot decided that the work VPN doesn't need to see github pages or most pages with code documentation so now I have to ask copilot about functions like a freaking nerd. I hate interacting with LLMs, they sorta do good summaries but that's it. Linkedin is a horrible page filled with people either using AI or talking like an AI to not seem 😢 unemployed 😭. No one uses emojis like that.

Even before all this Social media was filled with trend based fomo asking you for money to get more engagement because you are a terrible poster and should be punished by being closer to poverty to fix it.

Also we gamified language for some reason. I don't mind this as much I just think is weird.

Basically this is saying that I'm getting old (internet old) and I need time back to myself, to cringe in older and slower ways. I don't wanna know that the new term for idk ordering food is constructing pylons or something I don't care anymore. I don't even know what the hell is happening in Roblox or why should I care.

The main reason of all this is that I'm on the presidential elections time-frame, something I very much like to be involved, and I've seen a rise not only in people sharing weird AI-memes or opinions around but also politicians dancing on TikTok (doesn't bother me) or trying to create the new BrainRot AI meme based on their faces (does bothers me) and that was the moment I said "Ok, fuck this. I know who im voting for I don't need more interaction with the internet culture".

I been slowly quitting different social media and using the time to visit more blogs or just reading or playing games. It hasn't made me a better person or detox me or anything like people tell me it does, I'm still the same lazy person that tries to reload the few forums I'm like 6 times a day to see if there's a new update like if the other people weren't tired of the constant scrolling like me. I just try for less time and use that time to dissociate like the old times.

So I'm really to ignore any new ways to interact the world will bring at me.

I'm not quitting tiktok tho, I need my funny pets videos that make me close the app and hug even more my dog even tho im hugging her already.

PS: Theres also the digital colonization part of things but I'm writing this in english so I guess that even if it bothers me I'm part of the problem.

PS2: I wrote Cohost instead of Copilot and I notice more that god I miss Cohost.

PS3: I might start calling first world countries colonizers instead.
